Spicy Sweet Potato Hummus
Ingredients:
- 3 cups peeled yams
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1/4 cup raw tahini
- 1 tbsp. olive oil (optional)
- 2 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 tbsp. wheat free tamari
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tsp. pink himalayan salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. cumin
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne (may be adjusted to suit your tastes)
- 1/4 tsp. coriander
Directions
Blend all ingredients until smooth. This recipe also works well with other root vegetables such as beets and carrots! One of my favourite savoury fall recipes. xoxo
